Education Africa is delighted to announce that it will be sponsoring two Deaf/Hard of Hearing girls to Pajobi School for Students with Special Needs in Pakwach, Uganda. Both girls, Faith Abalo is 13 years old, Venessa Achola is 6 years old have never attended any school. The girls who are in the boarding section of the school started January 17, 2022.
Early Child Find is not routine in rural Uganda. So, the parents of these girls were in jubilation when their children were accidently found and brought to the attention of Education Africa and its partners in Pakwach, Jonam Development Foundation. Education Africa is dependent on your generous donations. Any contribution will be appreciated to support Venessa and Faith!
UPDATE: Venessa and Faith are doing well in their new environment! They are learning their new environment and routines! Teachers report them as being keen and fast learners! We will keep you abreast of their progress on a regular basis!
